Thousands of students and protesters march through London to protest against the rise in tuition fees.

Hundreds of thousands of people join the Trades Union Congress (TUC) march against the cuts in London.
Protest turned violent with some protesters smashing banks, shops and the Ritz hotel. There have been 202 arrests and 35 people injured, including 5 police officers.

Thousands of students, lecturers and members of public march through London for the 4th time to protest against government proposed rise in tuition fees. March took place on the day of the vote.
Protesters clashed with riot police. One protester was taken to hospital with brain injury.
